This script is a guideline for making your own recording for use when you're sitting in a chair, which is probably the best way, since beginners often fall asleep when using the `laying down' script. It is OK to fall asleep though, so long as it doesn't become a habit J.
The underlined parts of this script may or may not be incorporated into your personal tape recording. Make the first few minutes of your tape blank, so as to give you a little time to get comfortable. If you have made a goal contract for yourself, it should be in writing and memorized.
The purpose of this technique is to facilitate personal mind-control by turning off that part of the mind which judges and discriminates thought input in order to allow the conscious inputting of new thought patterns (also known as programs) into your bio-computer for processing. This technique is not new by any means, nor is the concept, it's just explained and approached in a way more suited to our times and culture.
This script is the beginner's long version. After a couple of weeks, you can shorten the script considerably, and still achieve the same state of consciousness. When recording these scripts, use a rhythmic voice, and really listen to yourself as you are speaking the script into the microphone.
Close your eyes,
Roll your eyes up gently as if you were looking towards a spot between your eyebrows,
Take a few deep breaths, and we'll begin in a moment.
I'm thinking of my feet and I'm allowing my feet to relax. I'm thinking of my feet and I'm allowing my feet to relax. As I think of my feet, I can feel my feet becoming more relaxed. I'll wiggle my toes a little to become more aware of my feet, and as I do so, I can feel my feet becoming more relaxed. My feet are now completely and utterly relaxed. Relaxation continues over my insteps past my ankles to the calves of my legs.
I'm thinking of my calves and I'm allowing my calves to relax. I'm thinking of my calves and I'm allowing my calves to relax. As I think of my calves, I can feel my calves becoming more relaxed. I'll twitch the muscles in my calves to become more aware of them, and as I twitch the muscles in my calves, I can feel my calves becoming more relaxed. My calves are now completely and utterly relaxed. Relaxation continues up over my knees to my thighs.
I'm thinking of my thighs and I'm allowing my thighs to relax. I'm thinking of my thighs and I'm allowing my thighs to relax. As I think of my thighs, I can feel my thighs becoming more relaxed. My thighs are now completely and utterly relaxed.
I have allowed both of my legs to become so relaxed that my legs are now feeling very limp. I have allowed both of my legs to become so relaxed that my legs are now feeling very limp, and they are beginning to feel just a little heavy. Relaxation is like a blanket being pulled up over my hips and now covers my abdomen.
I'm allowing all the muscles around my stomach to relax. I'm allowing all the muscles around my stomach to become relaxed. As I allow all the muscles around my stomach to become completely and utterly relaxed, my stomach feels very limp. Now I will allow all the muscles around my rib cage and my midriff and diaphragm to relax. As I allow the muscles around my rib cage and midriff and diaphragm to become completely and utterly relaxed, I realize that I'm breathing more deeply. I'm breathing deeply and rhythmically, and with each rhythmic breath I take, I'm becoming more and more pleasantly relaxed. Relaxation spreads around to my back.
My back form-fits the chair with comfort and ease. I'm sitting very comfortably and very contentedly. I'm sitting very comfortably and very contentedly. As I allow all the muscles in by back to relax it seems as though I'm blending with the chair on which I'm sitting. Relaxation continues up my spine through my central nervous system, relaxing muscle and tissue and sinew all over my body; and as it continues up my back, under my shoulder blades, over my shoulder blades, I can feel my shoulders relaxing.
I'm allowing my shoulders to relax. I'm allowing my shoulders to relax. As I allow my shoulders to become more relaxed, I can feel my shoulders begin to droop. As I allow my shoulders to become more relaxed I can feel my shoulders drooping and sagging as they become completely and utterly relaxed. My arms are hanging from my shoulders in a very loose, limp manner. My arms are hanging from my shoulders in a very loose, limp manner, and I'm allowing my arms to relax. I'm allowing my arms to relax. Relaxation is spreading from my upper arms to my forearms and to my hands.
Relaxation is spreading from my upper arms to my forearms and to my hands. I have allowed both of my arms to become so relaxed that my arms are now feeling very limp. I have allowed both of my arms to become so relaxed that my arms are now feeling very limp, and they also are beginning to feel just a little heavy.
I'm allowing all the muscles around my neck and my throat to relax. I'm allowing all the muscles around my neck and my throat to become completely and utterly relaxed. As I allow all the muscles around my neck and my throat to relax, my head begins to feel rather heavy and droops toward my chest.
[If you are upright, really allow these muscles to relax and your head to droop forward. You cannot possibly be relaxed if you keep your neck stiff and upright.]
I'm allowing all of my facial muscles to relax. I'm allowing all of my facial muscles to relax. I am erasing all of the frown lines from my forehead and between my eyebrows. I am erasing all of the frown lines from my forehead and between my eyebrows. As I allow all of my facial muscles to relax, my face seems to be bathed in a gentle feeling of relaxation. I've allowed the smallest muscles in my body - the muscles around my eyelids - to relax and my eyelids feel very heavy. I've allowed the smallest muscles in my body - the muscles around my eyelids - to become so relaxed that my eyelids are feeling very heavy and I slip gently into a deep state of complete and utter relaxation.
I'm going deeper and deeper into this wonderful relaxation. I'm breathing deeply and rhythmically, and with each rhythmic breath I take, I become more and more pleasantly relaxed. All of the sounds I can hear in the background are only helping me to become more relaxed and go deeper into this complete and utter relaxation.
Now I will use mind control. Each and every time I use mind control, I will become more deeply relaxed and be able to use mind control faster than the time before. Each and every time I use mind control, I will become more deeply relaxed and be able to use mind control faster than the time before.
I'm switching off the judgement routines of my mind. I'm switching off the judgement routines of my mind. I have switched off the judgement routines of my mind, and I now control the input to my bio-computer. My bio-computer is now receptive to my imagination. My bio-computer is now receptive to my imagination. My bio-computer is receptive to my imagination and I am using my willpower to stabilize my imagination. I am using my willpower to stabilize my imagination. As I use my willpower to stabilize my imagination, my imagination is welcomed as an irresistible program to be completed by my bio-computer. My imagination is welcomed as an irresistible program to be completed by my bio-computer.
Each and every morning when I wake up, I wake up with a very positive attitude. This positive attitude stays with me all day. I am aware of negative people and negative situations that I come into contact with at all times during the course of the day, but they only cause me to be more positive. I am aware of any negative thought which happens to slip into my mind, but as I become aware of it - which is immediately - I reject it as being a weak and trivial thought.
I will now supply to my bio-computer two or three minutes worth of imagination remembering times in my life when I felt thrilled with success.
I will now supply to my bio-computer two or three minutes of imagining (with feeling) the successful completion of the achievement of my goals.
In a moment I will turn back on the judgement routines of my mind and end this session. I feel wonderful in every way. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, I feel terrific, and I feel very energetic. On the count of four, the judgement routines of my mind are turned back on. One, [pause] Two, [pause] Three, [pause] Four.
You may want to delete the last few minutes of this tape recording in order to spend more time uninterruptedly programming your bio-computer, or perhaps you want to use this relaxation technique as the jumping-off place to commune with your God. You also may want to record your goals into this tape-recording. Feel free to do so. Remember to consciously turn on the judgement mechanism of your mind at the end of the session.
