INNER SELF TRUTH
VS
BELIEF SYSTEMS
What is The Truth of Life? How can you be sure, when one person tells you this, and another person tells you that, and the preacher tells you to live like this, and the shrink tells you to live like that, and on and on and on, and your friends want you to do this, and your relatives want you to do that... what do you know? What do you do? What is true? What is true for YOU?
Upon close observation of peoples antics, you will find that no two persons think exactly alike. That is to say, no two people have exactly the same view of life and how to live it. Upon further observation, you find that over 99% of people are living their lives according to some other person's doctrine, rather than discovering their own inner truth. Living any life other than your own results in disharmony, discontent, and disaster. The three D's are obvious in the newspaper, on radio and tv, in your classroom and workplace, in your home, anywhere and everywhere a person or people are.
The unfortunate thing is that our belief system, which comes from a hodge-podge of other peoples beliefs, becomes so much a part of ourselves that it is very difficult to reject, to give up, because this is like saying "I was wrong, wrong on a level so deep, so basic, so radical, that every part of my life was adversely affected by my blind acceptance of unfounded beliefs." In fact, our belief system becomes so strong that it becomes visible to ourselves and to others, so that when we look in the mirror, we don't see our true self any more, we see our belief systems. This troubles us, but vaguely, because the belief system has become us. This is also true as others see us. We use so much time and energy putting forth and defending our belief system to others, that we are seen, not as our self, but as our belief system. We are seen as a pile of adjectives rather than the noun, to the extent that the adjectives are believed to be the noun -- the essence of our self.
So how can we discover The Truth of our self?; it's been buried so deep. Well, we must remember that we buried it ourselves, we accepted its burial, and it was done. Another thing to remember is that the Inner Self (which holds the key to security) is not dead, but only buried. Therefore we must discover, dis-cover, un-cover, remove the covers from, the Inner True Self.
Once this is done, the mind becomes clear. Thinking still has its place, but it is now done properly, with no waste. Have you ever noticed you thoughts? how they can run away with you? How much time is wasted in idle gossip, false judgement, speculation, guessing, useless wishing and hoping? With a clear mind, a mind that is operating from Inner True Self, your thinking is reserved for technical matters, and for conscious creation of events and situations which are in harmony with the Essence of Life energy. intuition becomes strong and trustworthy.
The silent voice within becomes your guide. You retain your free will: the right to follow or to not follow your intuitive silent voice. The more you drop ego, (your belief system), the more you live by intuition, the more your life becomes harmonious.
The Absolute Truth of Life IS your Inner True Self. The harmonious relative truth of life, (YOUR truth) is your moment by moment expression of the Inner True Self. All other "truth" is belief system based only, and therefore is nothing BUT belief. When you discover the Inner True Self (and only then) you will KNOW The Truth forever.
